There is no support by government to Veda-adhyapakas. In ancient times shishyas would collect dakshina from gruhasthas while their routine begging and submit it to their guru. This has also stopped. So shishyas are also not able to pay. So looking after vedic teacher through financial and moral support has become very necessary and society's responsibility.
